About SVi

SVi is a software video player & mixer with built-in effects. It was being developed to make the job of live video mixing easier for VJ's and other artists creating video live and in real-time. It supports the playback of the following filetypes: FLC, MPG, AVI, ASF, ASX, MOV, QT. The clips can be triggered from the GUI interface, the keyboard, or MIDI note-on messages.

Requirements

  • Win 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 or XP
  • DirectX 3 or later (DirectX 8.1 recommended)
  • MediaPlayer 5 or later (for DirectShow support in DirectX pre v 8)
  • Display mode MUST be set to 16bit aka HighColor / 65,536 colors
  • Minimum Pentium-200 with at least 32MB RAM.

Hints

  • 'Drag' AVI's, FLC's, MPG's from explorer and 'Drop' onto the Video Control window to add them to the clip database.
  • Double click on a clip to play it.
  • Right-click on a selected clip in the clip db to assign it to a key on the keyboard. To use the keyboard control, the keyboard control window needs to be the active window.
